M.PHIL PROGRAMMES

1. M.Phil (English)


Eligibility

A candidate should possess Master’s Degree in the subject concerned from a recognized university, with a minimum of 55% (50% in the case of SC/ST candidates) of marks for admission into M.Phil programme.

Minimum Program Duration: 2 Years Maximum Program Duration: 3Years Medium : English
Tuition Fee (Per Annum)
  • 1) The candidate has to pay an amount of Rs 10,000 (Rupees Ten Thousand only) per annum for two years for M.Phil. towards the tuition fee.

    An amount of Rs.3,000 (Rupees Three Thousand only) shall be paid towards admission fee for the programme. In addition to this, the Science students having practical component have to bear the cost of consumables/field work/hiring of equipment etc.

    2) The candidate who could not submit the Dissertation within the minimum period of two years for M.Phil. has to pay at the rate of Rs.3,000/- for the remaining period prescribed to continue M.Phil. programmes.

    3) Candidates who could not submit the Dissertation within the maximum period prescribed will be allowed an extension of one more year on the payment of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only).
